On December 4, 2018, a creative evening dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the release of the film «The Needle» was held in St. Petersburg.

The Gallery of Kustanovich presented for the view of participants the painting of the Saint Peterburg's painter Dmitry Kustanovich «The Wall of Tsoi» from the «Aesthetics of Non-paraded St. Petersburg» series.

There was a fascinating conversation about the shooting, about the actors, about Viktor Tsoi and much more with the film's director Rashid Nugmanov. There was also a performance by the actor Alexander Bashirov, who played the role of Spartacus in the film.

Composer Alexander Kustanovich with musicians performed his own arrangements of Victor Tsoi and the Kino band's songs.

The creative evening took place at the Ambassador Hotel in St.Petersburg.
